Your personal data is processed on our website to fulfil the basic therapeutic obligations, that are included in the therapeutic contract. Your personal data is helping us contact you to discuss our therapeutic contract and deliver effective therapy. Your personal data can also be used to improve our services. My legal obligation is ethically processing your data.
What laws are protecting your data?
According to the General Data Protection Regulation (2019), all organizations processing personal data, are obligated to store personal data only if the data is processed lawfully; collected for specific purposes; accurate, necessary and kept up to date; the amount of personal data is adequate to the reason for storing it. Our portal, www.integracounselling.co.uk is processing all data according to the General Data Protection Regulation (2019).
How do we collect and treat your personal information?
Your data would be collected in order to fulfil my counselling obligations. Your data would be collected in the following ways: via website: www.integra-counselling.co.uk, in writting, over the phone and during our counselling sessions. Integra Therapeutic Counselling is going to process your personal data according to GDPR (2019).
How long and how your data would be stored?
Your data would be stored in electronic and physical format. Your personal data would be stored on password-protected devices and files, accessible for me only. Names and contact details would be stored separately to your personal data. Information stored in physical format would be stored anonymously, in a locked cabinet, accessible for me only. According to GDPR (2019), your data would not be stored for longer than necessary.
What types of information would be collected on our website?
Our website is going to collect different data e.g. if you view our website, www.integracounselling.co.uk, some information would be collected: your IP, location, search engine, date, time and device.
If you fill in our contact form, your name, phone number, date and time would also be collected.
I will also ask you about your contact details and availability before signing the counselling contract.
Cookies
When you fill the contact form, you can choose the option to save your name and e-mail address so during your next visit your details would be auto-filled in. These cookies expire after one year.
What are your rights to your personal data?
If you want to access your data stored by our portal www.integra-counselling.co.uk, you can request to have it delivered. You can also request to have your data deleted. It does not relate to data that we are obligated to store for administrative, lawful or security reasons. If you would like to access or delete your data, please contact us on anna@integracounselling.co.uk.
