Counselling/psychotherapy is a process, which allows you to discuss any issues that are bothering you , in a safe and non-judgmental environment. Counselling can help you with processing emotions and understanding them. It can also provide you with tools and techniques, which you can use outside of sessions.
Sessions usually occur weekly, on the same day and time, and each session lasts 50 minutes.
However, this we agree on frequency during the first session and it can be reviewed at any time, depending on your needs.
I am a qualified integrative therapeutic counsellor. It means that in my practice I integrate three therapeutic approaches: Person-Centred Therapy, Transaction Analysis, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
I use different techniques, which I tailor individually, depending on your needs and the nature of your problem.
It all depends on your individual needs.
Some people need a few sessions to start feeling better, others go to therapy for a few months.
Some clients decide to take a break and come back when they feel it would be useful again.
We can review this at any point.
If you are unable to attend a session please provide a 24 hours notice, otherwise the full fee
for the session will be charged.
If you provide a long notice, I will do my best to accommodate this and offer you an
alternative appointment.
Each session lasts 50 minutes and costs £50.
I accept cash, PayPal, and BACS transfer, payable prior to each session.
